Long before the contracts have been signed, exchanged and the completion date has been arranged, there is one very important decision which you have to make before the removal starts; how are you going to get all of your possessions to your new home?
Heir's of Portsmouth as a removals company have been running since 1994, when the company was started by my father Chris and my grandfather Gordon, but actually we have a much longer history in that it dates back to my Grandfather when horse and carts were the main mode of transport for removals companies! My father took over and, after being sold on, the company is now back in the family and is a true family-run business again.
We have over 30 years experience (Richard has 20 years experience alone!) within the company. We are very much aware that the whole process of buying and selling property today can be a stressful and traumatic affair however, as the last service provider we strive to complete this phase for you in a professional, reliable and caring manner.

As a family run removals business we aim to provide you with a high quality of service within a fair and reasonable budget.

At Heirs of Portsmouth, we take pride in the first rate packing service that we offer to all of our clients.
In addition to our removals service, we also provide a packing service. Our experienced team will safely and securely pack all of your possessions prior to removal. If you intend to move overseas, our team will ensure that your possessions are wrapped suitably for transport over an extended period of time.
If however you intend packing on your own, we can provide suitable containers and cartons for you to pack at your leisure.
A free home visit for a full household removal is a must and will always be recommended as it is an opportunity for you to meet us in addition to surveying the amount of furniture and contents to be moved. We are able to discuss any specific requirements, such as packing services, any items which may require extra care and advice on when to book your removals. This process is very important as it enables us to ensure that we plan your move in the most effective and efficient way.
Our aim is always to provide you with a stress free home removal experience our guidance and support are included as standard during the whole process.

When it comes to storing your possessions, you want to be sure they are safe and protected at all times.  Where better than a purpose-built facility providing secure, containerised storage?
Our storage areas vary in size, and can accommodate a variety of things from single items up to the entire contents of your home. We offer our facilities for both long and short term periods of time.  Storage facilities are used for a variety of reasons ranging from stock storage through to those of you who have successfully sold your property and have not, as yet, found your perfect new home.
